Director, Collegiate Academic and College Credit Partnerships

The director provides leadership and coordination for the development and administration of the high school college credit program encompassing private and public high schools as well as school districts. The director ensures that the FWISD Dunbar Collegiate Academy and other College Credit Partnerships are administered in accord with guidelines established by the University, accreditation requirements, and Memoranda of Understanding with high school(s) and school districts, creates systems to track and document that dual credit guidelines are being met, and is responsive to changing technologies and advances in delivery. The director builds relationships with high schools to increase college credit enrollment by assessing the needs of off-campus high school dual credit students and school districts, coordinating with academic departments and schools to provide courses in response to those needs, implementing marketing and promotion strategies to ensure participation, providing admission and registration support services at off-campus sites, and overseeing orientation and administrative support for students and faculty.
