Counselor II - Student Development Specialist, The University of Texas Permian Basin

The University of Texas Permian Basin invites applications for the position of Counselor II - Student Development Specialist.  This professional staff member will report to the Assistant Dean of Students and will coordinate the programs and day-to-day functions of the Collegiate Recovery Program BASICS (Brief Alcohol Screening and Intervention of College Students), Bystander Intervention Initiative, and Student Counseling Services.  The incumbent will also be responsible for the development, implementation, and coordination of collegiate recovery programs including assessing needs and evaluating outcomes; and serve as the primary resource for student issues related to substance abuse/addiction and recovery.
