    Visual Content Creator

    Human Resources Coordinator/Human Resources Representative (Generalist)

    Human Resources Coordinator:
    This is a paraprofessional position responsible for performing advanced work in support of various human resources programs, as assigned. Supports department in all areas as needed. Works under general supervision, with moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. Reports to the Associate Director of Human Resources.

    Human Resources Representative:

    This is a professional position responsible for overseeing various human resources programs, as assigned. Supports human resources programs and initiatives in all areas as needed. Serves an active role in reviewing current department policies and procedures and recommending changes. Works under limited supervision, with moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. Reports to the Associate Director of Human Resources.

     

    This position will be assigned to compensation and classification as its primary programs.

    Benefits Coordinator/Benefits Representative (Human Resources)

    Benefits Coordinator:
    This is a paraprofessional position responsible for performing advanced work in support of various human resource benefits programs. Responsible for providing benefits information to employees, retirees, vendors, and oversight agencies. Works under general supervision with moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. Reports to the Associate Director of Human Resources.

    Benefits Representative:
    This is a professional position responsible for overseeing various benefits-related human resources programs. Responsible for counseling employees on benefits programs concerning employee insurance, retirement plans, and savings plans, and advising the university community regarding policies and procedures. Serves an active role in reviewing current department policies and procedures and recommending changes. Works under limited supervision, with moderate latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. Reports to the Associate Director of Human Resources.

    Instructor, Vocational Nursing Program

    Classroom and clinical instruction, scheduling, and supervising students will be the primary responsibility for this position. Competence in teaching and curriculum development also required. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to: advising students, participating in and leading committees, participating in professional development activities for faculty, participating in developing standards for admission, progression, probation, and dismissal of students, program evaluation, budgeting, recruitment and retention activities, and building a positive public image for the total vocational nursing program and Panola College. The candidate should show willingness to sponsor and/or support student activities and engage in campus life outside of class responsibilities.  Bachelor of Science in Nursing required, teaching experience at the college level preferred.

    Electronic Resources Librarian

    The Electronic Resources Librarian provides support to implement and coordinate the library’s electronic environment including all activities (including cataloging) having to do with the library’s automated system and access to all electronic resources. This position works closely with the Director of Library Services to manage library software training for library employees; represents Panola College Library with selected system software vendors for applications and software upgrades and at user group meetings; manages the Library’s automation activities in each of the library’s service areas; works closely with assigned staff to solve technical problems and recommend solutions to library management; serves as advisor for the library’s web page; provides reference services at the Information Desk as needed. Required Office Hours will be Monday-Thursday, 9:30 am – 7:00 pm and Friday, 7:30 am – 12:30 pm.  Master of Library Science degree from an American Library Association accredited program required.
