Each of the planning committees for this year’s conference will need support from volunteers to make this year’s conference a success. Volunteer this year to get to know other TABPHE members, share your talents, and make the most of your experience at TABPHE.
As the conference approaches, the Volunteer Coordinator will contact you with more information about where we will need your assistance based on your interests.If you are interested in volunteering in one or more of the following areas, please complete our volunteer interest form.
Volunteers will support the planning and logistics of the awards banquet.
|First-Timer Reception||Volunteers will support planning and logistics of the reception.|
|Lifetime Members Reception||Volunteers will support planning and logistics of the reception.|
|Hospitality and Networking||Volunteers will support the planning of network activities, assemble conference bags and inserts, and plan door prizes.|
Volunteers will set out signage, coordinate meeting room assignments, and work closely with the volunteer and vendor coordinator to meet logistical needs.
|Public Relations, Marketing, and Publicity||
Volunteers will market and publicize conference
Volunteers will register attendees before and during the conference and coordinate registration activities, working closely with the state Treasurer.
|Scholarships||Volunteers will review scholarship applications and select scholarship recipients.|
|Speaker/Facilitator Check-In and Materials||
Volunteers will ensure session speakers and session facilitators are provided with logistic information, collect session evaluations, and work closely with logistics.
Volunteers will solicit conference sponsorships from educational institutions, businesses and for-profit organizations and entities, coordinating recognition of these sponsors and working closely with Public Relations committee.
|Technology and Media||
Volunteers will coordinate activities for in person/virtual presentation of the conference, photography, recordings, and livestreaming.
Volunteers will support scheduling and coordination of conference volunteers (facilitators, hosts, runners, etc.)
