Visiting Faculty Digital Initiatives Librarian 

Eunice and James L. West library is a collaborative team that works closely with other library departments and campus faculty. The Digital Initiatives Librarian will coordinate the vision, planning, implementation, and maintenance of the library’s digital programs, including digital collections, digitization, digital preservation, digital scholarship as well as Open Educational Resources implementation and support on campus. This position will also coordinate and support the development, maintenance, and management of the repositories needed to deliver the library’s digital platform. This librarian will perform outreach and instruction to the campus communityregarding the library’s digital initiatives and programs, oversee the TXWES Maker Lab, and serve as library liaison to faculty. The library’s digital repository is housed on the Quartex digital platform and Special Collection resources use Archives Space.
