    The Director for Employer Engagement and Student Readiness (Grant Funded) advises and manages students on available experiential learning opportunities.  Helps students acquire internships appropriate to their career goals through untapped community networks (FW Chamber of Commerce, FW Black Chamber of Commerce, FW Hispanic Chamber of Commerce, Arlington Chamber of Commerce, FW East Business Association, etc.).  Network and recruit meaningful opportunities for student engagement in corporate and educational settings, serves as a career coach, and engages in appropriate community organizations to further the opportunities for post-graduation success of our students. Assists the department in managing general operations, program assessments, maintaining and developing employment recruiting events, and development of college and career programs. Helps manage and staff the Employer Advisory Board.

    Reporting to the AVP of Admissions, the Director of Admissions Operations is a key member of the senior Admissions leadership team and provides leadership and strategic direction for the undergraduate, graduate, and international admission operations functions. The Director of Admissions Operations serves as the primary Admissions contact for data management, support for our CRM, Technolutions (Slate), and all other systems. The Director of Admissions Operations will oversee enrollment management operations in support of Texas Wesleyan University’s admissions functions. The Director of Admissions Operation’s primary role is to provide technology expertise and support in the management and usage of systems, databases, reports and data used by Admissions in order to recruit, admit and enroll students as well as supervise up to three admissions processors. The Director of Admissions Operations will work with and provide technical and data-related services, support and training to Admission teams related to data management and applications. Additionally, this position works as part of a team responsible for the design, maintenance and support of the Admissions CRM, Slate.

    Primary responsibility is shared between coordinating/producing regular statistical reports for distribution and coordinating graduation responsibilities, including auditing degree requirements and meeting individually with students daily. Reports are prepared and analyzed for University administrator use from registration and other relative system data. Additional time is spent programming degree audit for all majors, processing final graduation audits for students, assisting with evaluation and posting of transfer credit, and in performing regular testing in the student system each term to ensure functionality.
