    The Computer Science Program Admin provides administrative support in the operation of the Master of Science in Computer Science (MSCS) online graduate and the undergraduate CS program for the School of Arts and Sciences (SOAS). In addition, the Program Admin consults with faculty, advises students, and provides input to graduate course schedules, and markets courses and programs to prospective students and employers. The MSCS Program Admin works directly with both students and faculty to create a friendly customer-focused environment that encourages students to seek and obtain accurate and timely academic guidance. This academic guidance includes but is not limited to graduation planning, course scheduling, seeking solutions to academic progress barriers, registration; add/dropping courses, etc. In addition, the MSCS Program Admin assists in the improvement of student retention, and graduation. The MSCS Program Admin also serves as a liaison between the MSCS Program and the Registrar, the office of Graduate Recruiting, and other program stakeholders.

    The Financial Aid Specialist II serves as the main point of contact for document intake, resolving financial aid questions, explaining students’ awards, responding to email solicitations to the Financial Aid Office mailbox, assisting with all student orientations, FAFSA presentations, and assisting with all other tasks assigned. This position requires a person who is accustomed to working in a high-volume work environment, coupled with a lot of detailed work. The individual must be able to demonstrate that they are able to follow directions and work independently. Accuracy is a key component in this position, coupled with attention to detail. Applicant cannot be in default on any Federal Student Loans.
